What Is Wrist Pain?
Wrist pain can manifest as aching, stiffness, numbness or weakness in the wrist. Wrist pain is common, but fortunately it is not life threatening and can usually be successfully diagnosed and treated.
What Causes Wrist Pain?
Wrist pain is often caused by repetitive use of the wrist, such as from work or sports. It can also be caused suddenly by fractures or sprains. Common cause include carpal tunnel syndrome, sports injury, repetitive wrist motion such as from knitting, or arthritis. Neck or shoulder issues may also manifest as wrist pain.
